The Elven Gate

This is a scene from Peter Jackson's epic film "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug".
The scene is when Bilbo and the Dwarves are escaping from the realm of the Elven King Thranduil but are ambushed by Bolg, son of Azog, and his party of Orcs.  They could not escape because the water-gate was closed.  Kili climbed out of his barrel and fended off Orcs, trying to get to the lever that would open the gate (That is this build).  Just as soon as the immediate threat was leveled (With some help from Fili), Kili was shot while reaching for the lever.  He was shot with a poisoned arrow by Bolg.  It worked out in the end of the movie when the Elf Lady Tauriel healed Kili with Elven Magic.

A shot of the build.

A full shot of the build.

A close-up of Kili decapitating an Orc.

The Orc's head.

The other Orc, who was neutralized by one of Fili's many hidden daggers.

Another angle of the build.

Thorin in a barrel.

Bilbo hitching a ride on Gloin's barrel.

Another shot of the build.  See the water-gate in the back?

A tree.

Another angle of Kili and the Elven wall.

The lever that controls the water-gate.

The whole thing with no minifigures or barrels.

Stairs.

The tree and the lever.

The wall.

The whole thing.
